🇺🇸🇮🇱 JD Vance just escalated his criticism of Israel, accusing elements of the Israeli government of running a campaign to undermine U.S. negotiations with Iran.

In a wide-ranging interview with Joe Rogan, Vance said some in Israel’s system are “manipulating and trying to change American public opinion to keep the war going on indefinitely.”

He highlighted Israeli-funded influence efforts and attacks on him personally, responding bluntly: “My response to that is, ‘Well, go to hell.’”

Vance, who helped negotiate the ceasefire with Iran, made clear he puts American interests first and is frustrated with allies pushing for endless conflict.

The comments highlight growing tensions within the Trump orbit over Israel and signal a shift among younger conservatives questioning unconditional support.

🇺🇸🇮🇱 U.S. Congressman Ro Khanna says Israeli settlers carrying American-made M4 rifles detained him and other Americans on a trip to Palestine.

When the IDF arrived, they sided with the settlers and continued the detention.

Ro Khanna: "They made a huge mistake."

Congressman Ro Khanna said he was detained by Israeli settlers for over an hour while visiting the West Bank. Khanna also said members of the Israel Defense Forces spoke with the settlers and moved a car to block the road.

Khanna's experience was first reported by The New York Times. A spokesperson for the congressman confirmed the details of the Times' report to CBS News.

The Israeli military said they intervened after receiving a report of settlers blocking vehicles near Khirbet Zanuta and "troops dispersed the Israeli civilians and allowed the vehicles to continue on their way."

Khanna described his experience in the West Bank and Israel as "the first time that I have really been acutely aware of being brown."

"I feel like people have seen me first as brown, second as an American congressman, and third as an American citizen," he said.

Pepe Escobar says Pakistani intelligence intercepted a plot to assassinate Field Marshal Asim Munir, and possibly Pakistan's entire delegation, while they mediated the U.S.-Iran talks in Switzerland.

This comes as the U.S. has provisionally agreed, as part of the Iran deal, to "ensure the integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon," ending the war on every front but one Israel still controls directly.
