A close family friend passed away last week.
The family has flown out to celebrate her life and say goodbye.
I was chatting to one of her daughters, who told me that she chatted to her mom last week, and even though the call was long, it wasn't long enough.
Those words hit me hard.
So I don't know who needs to hear this right now but phone your mom or dad (if you're still lucky enough to have them) and have a really long, quality conversation with them.
Or call someone you love.
And tell them that you love them.
Give them all the time you have.
Because one day it will feel like the time spent together, just wasn't long enough.
Okay. Love you. Bye.
“Grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” - Jamie Anderson
@mrcraigharding Coursera has some great online courses that I've been using for years. It's perfectly legit. No need for matric or anything else. You earn certificates for each course you complete. If you sign up for Coursera Plus pay roughly R800/month or $399/year.
@stripper_oprah I have two dogs. Both are on Dotsure and they've been incredible, always paid out, no hassles, great customer service.
Plans are: 1x Superior and 1x Standard. Only reason for the difference in plan is one of my dogs is more likely to have hereditary issues.
@Uberutang I'm loving Outriders. The difficulty is such a good challenge. Need more games like this, where there is a sense of achievement for getting through.
