Perfect way to end #NationalForestWeek by planting a mini-red pine forest! We planted 50 seedlings in time for them to establish their roots for the winter, on a site that hasn't seen trees for decades. The best part? We brought them via canoe! #reforestation #treeplanting 🛶🌲

Happy #NationalTreeDay ! Today I celebrate by acquiring 50 red pine seedlings and 3 deciduous trees to be planted this weekend. In their lifetime, these trees will sequester carbon, provide habitat and food for wildlife, clean the air, all while looking beautiful! 🌲🌳

Since we couldn't make our own this year, I bought our year's supply of #maplesyrup from my other fav sugarbush @wheelersmaple. They have been hit hard by COVID as their pancake house is closed during the busiest months. The drive is beautiful and worth the trip! #supportlocal
