Happy Section Championship Day to all those who celebrate! The Hunters take on Grand Rapids at Rock Ridge to determine the 7AAA champ. 1 p.m. start. Denfeld needs a single win to advance to the state tournament, Grand Rapids has to defeat the Hunters twice to move on.
Practice action tonight will be from 5-7 p.m. at the legendary and beautiful Egerdahl Field in Proctor. Big thanks to the Rails and their very Hunter-y coaching staff.
Well, a lot has happened since our last post. A playoff win. Another playoff win. Then a third playoff win. Good stuff.
The Hunters practice Monday at Wade Stadium from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday is still TBD (both time and location), as is the Section Championship Wednesday.

Playoffs! Denfeld hosts Chisago Lakes today at 4:30 at Wade Stadium in the opening round of the 7AAA playoffs. Second-round is set for Thursday, opponent, location, and time TBD. But the Hunters will practice at Wade Stadium at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29.
Weather looks potentially wet for This Week In Denfeld Baseball. Practice Monday at Wade from 4-6p, followed by Tues and Weds at Wade (7-9p, each night) and a final regular season game with Cambridge-Isanti on Thurs at 1:30 p.m. The Hunters practice Fri at Wade from 4-6p also.

Tuesday, at the historic Denfeld gymnasium from 6-8 p.m. and then Thursday we also move into the gym from 6-8 p.m. as Wade schedule changes. In the middle, on Wednesday, we are still heading to Grand Rapids.
The Week Ahead in Denfeld Baseball - Monday we practice at Wade at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Wade at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday we trek to Grand Rapids for double bacon cheeseburgers, and Thursday is PICTURE DAY at Wade starting at 7 p.m. (We will go uniforms, not suits and ties).

Mother Nature wins again. No game today in Chisago Lakes. No practice today or tomorrow. Next up for the Hunters is a cross-bridge conference contest vs. Superior on Monday.
We gave it a shot, but the rain and wind had other ideas. We will reschedule with Marshall soon. In the meantime, practice tomorrow is at 7 a.m. at the gymnasium, and the game vs. Hermantown has been moved to noon on Thursday at Wade Stadium.
