El caso por propaganda política dentro de Casa de Gobierno de Tlaxcala ya llegó a la Fiscalía Especializada en Delitos Electorales de la FGR.

La senadora priista Anabell Ávalos denunció posibles delitos electorales por el uso de instalaciones públicas para beneficiar a Alfonso Sánchez García.

Sánchez es alcalde con licencia de Tlaxcala capital y busca la candidatura de Morena a gobernador en 2027.

Fotografías y videos muestran cajas con su imagen y personas preparando material político dentro del inmueble oficial.

El gobierno de Lorena Cuéllar reaccionó separando de sus funciones a tres personas.

Pero después la Secretaría de Gobierno aseguró que la operación política cuestionada no ocurrió dentro de Casa de Gobierno.

Las imágenes difundidas contradicen esa versión.

La Ley General en Materia de Delitos Electorales castiga a servidores públicos que usen bienes, servicios o recursos bajo su control para beneficiar a una candidatura o partido.

La Fiscalía deberá determinar quién ingresó la propaganda, quién organizó su preparación y si trabajadores o recursos públicos participaron.

I interpret the last 10-14 days as a contest over who gets to define reality before negotiations resume.

Ratcliffe went to Moscow saying, effectively - You are weaker than you think. Negotiate before it gets worse.

Putin’s response appears to be - Watch what we can still do.

Intensifying strikes immediately afterward is Moscow working to demonstrate that it retains escalation capacity.

Moscow knew that flying Witkoff and Kushner directly into Kyiv was under consideration, hitting the relevant airports is a remarkably unsubtle way of saying - Russia controls the escalation environment in which diplomacy occurs. It also forces the Americans back into the familiar rail and ground-security architecture rather than allowing a highly symbolic American aircraft arrival in wartime Kyiv.

That symbolism would have mattered enormously. An American delegation flying into Kyiv would implicitly demonstrate that Russia can be compelled, or at least induced, to tolerate protected air movement into the Ukrainian capital.

That starts looking close to an air ceasefire or a protected corridor. Preventing that has strategic value for Moscow.

The strike against SBU HQ is more of the same - Ratcliffe delivered his message to Bortnikov. Russia struck the office of Bortnikov’s Ukrainian counterpart.

Time will tell, but I think we are entering a dangerous new phase of the war.

A two week power shot/ranking would unfortunately look like this:

Russia: ↑↑ - seized the psychological initiative, escalated successfully, projecting confidence

Ukraine: → / slight ↑ - under enormous air pressure and frontline strain, but battlefield performance and deep-strike capability are considerably strong

United States: ↓↓ - enormous latent leverage, but currently displaying considerably more desire for an agreement than Russia and therefore allowing Putin to keep testing Trump

A significant American or European coercive move could change this ranking very quickly.

Additionally, Zelenskyy proposing a ceasefire and Russia not accepting was a gambit that may have played more successfully in the past. He was rightfully attempting to demonstrate Ukraine is committed to peace. But Putin is working to demonstrate he is committed to winning. I am concerned the latter will convey more strength.

A growing campaign of Russian sabotage across Europe is raising fears of an escalation that could eventually draw NATO into a confrontation with Moscow, the New York Times reported.

Western officials say attacks and plots targeting airports, railways, defense companies, warehouses and other infrastructure have increased in frequency and intensity. The latest incident was a failed drone attack at a German airport, where one explosive drone hit a parked Ukrainian cargo plane, and another appeared to collide with a plane taking off. Neither drone detonated.

So far, no one has been killed or seriously injured. But Western officials warn that it may only be a matter of time before an attack causes casualties - creating a fundamentally different dilemma for NATO, whose Article 5 commitment was designed primarily around conventional military aggression.

The German authorities also opened investigations into possible sabotage attacks on a defense contractor in Munich and two electrical substations; a fire erupted at a drone factory in Poland that officials said was most likely caused by sabotage; and Denmark’s intelligence service said Russia was recruiting Danes to attack defense firms. That was only this week.

“Russia has gotten pretty lucky,” said Julianne Smith, a former US ambassador to NATO. “At some point, it is going to go off the rails, and somebody is going to get hurt, and it’s going to present a different dilemma for the alliance.”

Tanto proclamar la “superioridad moral” para acabar normalizando las mismas corruptelas que prometieron erradicar.

La contradicción ya es inocultable: predican austeridad, practican privilegios; hablan de servir al pueblo, pero demasiados se sirven del poder.
