*THE PAIN OF BEING UNEMPLOYED, BROKE AND STILL HAVING RESPONSIBILITIES.*
One of the most painful situations in life is being unemployed and broke while responsibilities continue demanding your attention.
☑️ Rent still needs to be paid.
☑️ Children still need food and school requirements.
☑️ Electricity and water bills do not stop coming.
☑️ Parents and relatives may still depend on you.
☑️ Emergencies do not wait until you find a job.
Every morning, you wake up carrying the weight of needs you cannot meet, not because you are lazy or irresponsible, but because you currently have no income.
You send applications and receive no response. You ask people for opportunities and are promised calls that never come. You watch deadlines approach while your pockets remain empty.
This kind of pressure can affect your confidence, sleep and mental health. You may begin avoiding calls, gatherings and even the people you love because you are ashamed of repeatedly saying, “I don’t have anything.”
The hardest part is being judged by people who assume you are not trying. They see your unemployment, but they do not see the applications, rejection emails, sleepless nights, silent tears and daily battle to remain hopeful.
If this is your situation, please do not give up. Being broke does not mean you are worthless. Being unemployed does not mean you are lazy. This is a difficult season, not your permanent identity.
Update your CV. Work on your interview skills. Keep learning, connecting and applying. Take honest temporary opportunities when they come, and never be ashamed to start small. Rest when you need to, but rise and try again.
One opportunity can change everything. Until it comes, protect your mind, hold on to your dignity and keep believing. Your responsibilities may feel overwhelming, but your story is not over.

Today, I convened an interactive dialogue with Mr. Olara Otunnu as part of the Secretary‑General selection process. Member States and civil society engaged with the candidate on his vision for the UN. Afande @Akasingye, for the record, I will always respect you for the contribution you have made to Ugandan football, particularly as the Chairman of Police FC. That will never change.
However, I strongly disagree with your approach as a publicist of @scvilla to also regularly brand, position, and present yourself in Arsenal wear. You are an opinion leader in this country, and with a large following of over 1 million people on your X platform, you confuse us. As a villa fan, aren’t you recruiting me for Arsenal?
If your problem is the messenger, debate against the message. I am sure that, by your experience, you can differentiate the two
I cannot be bullied by your ranting on social media. Deal with the content of the message and debate your way out.
It only lowers your rating to start ranting and getting personal when you are confronted with an opinion contrary to yours. Civility demands debate, not ranting
For information of those following;
I started supporting SC Villa in 1987 and European Football in 1991, before the English Premier League. AC Milan introduced me to European football, influenced by the Dutch Trio. I have followed, read, and written about European football more than the many wannabes here.
In 2023 I took a personal opinion and got saved from that indoctrination. I decided to stop buying and promoting European Football. For your information, when I find myself in a place and space to watch, I will watch European Football because there is a lot to learn not to support, promote, and buy. This is not a contradiction. From June 2023, I DONT SUPPORT, PROMOTE neither BUY European Football but this not the debate
In club football, I support SC Villa and Kampala Queens.
I don't find this difficult to comprehend
So don’t create so many conspiracy theories centered on my personality. Applauding every comment from those who ignorantly support you only helps you recruit gallery commentators who lack the quality for this level of debate, and for them, I can’t choose.
My opinion is on you, as an SC Villa Publicist confusing the followers with Arsenal. Resign as the Publicist and support your Arsenal and you won't hear me fault you, it will be your choice and I will only convince you to see the light I saw
You see I am not ranting and don't think I do not how to but I chose going down to the wire with you on the subject matter for the followers to get a civil debate
If you are over 30 years old, please take take care of your health. Health complications are worse than anything else. Be kind to your body and it will make you happy. Lastly, protect your mental health by all means necessary.
Sometimes life piles so much on you that it feels like the end of the road.
But listen rock bottom isn’t the finish line, it’s the place where new strength is born.
Start again, go with the flow if you must, but never make giving up an option.
