@GuertinJ@HermannNabi1 @LaurentAzoulay0 I don't think immortal bias is the culprit here. The analysis seem to account for the age at which people become politicians. Confounding bias may explain part of the association (health as you mentioned, education and socioeconomic status also come to mind).
