@cliodiaspora I understand the sentiment of why this is emotional for people but to be honest, if you have been in the country for more than 5 years, it does take 10 mins to do. You get the response in a couple of days without providing any docs, only as per NI number. They have done it well.

@BBCNews All of this coverage... Some of it generalising Bulgaria and all its citizens. Why can't we all just get real? This happens everywhere - it's not acceptable, and it's not a reason to condemn a whole country. There are no racists in the UK?

@British_Airways I understand you are busy, but it is not acceptable that I am unable to have a conversation with a member of your team. The delays were very unpleasant for everybody, and it is taking very long for BA to comply with the directive. The least you can do is speak to people.
