@F2Foxehs@marcrileydj Fair enough but I doubt Marc Riley is thinking like that.
He’s been talking about and playing Madchester music on radio and now X for nearly 40 years.
It would be weird if he continually explained who these very famous artists of the genre are. People know by now!
@LPD7777@marcrileydj@margretkmargret He’s perfect. He completely sums up what the band is about.
He also shows that this is the kind of band that loves to have a guy on stage just to dance and get into the music with the audience.
Wouldn’t be anywhere near the same without him.
@TankieSlappa@USwd1968@WarMonitor3 We don’t even vote for a party.
We vote for our local MPs, how they organise themselves in Parliament is completely up to them. They could all defect to different parties any time they want and we have no say in that.
@nigelbsavage@WarMonitor3 You don’t even vote for a party. You vote for your local MP personally.
How they arrange themselves in Parliament is up to them. By voting for them you are saying you trust their judgement.
Your MP could defect to another party and you have no say in that.
@rojalita25@AnnieBishop123@HJoyceGender The letter may well be real, it’s just that this exact picture has been doing the rounds on the internet for years. That’s why people are suspicious Annie
@SimonCarGuy@Keir_Starmer You understand that we live in a free market democracy?
You seriously want any prime minister to be able to click his fingers and force private companies to do his bidding?
This isn’t China.
@Tom_Emmet@Keir_Starmer A private company could provide a service for free if they feel it’s the right thing to do.
It’s not surprising Starmer believes that.
He literally got knighted for working for free for people who couldn’t afford it.
@realSteveHope@Keir_Starmer Such a weird take suggesting that Starmer only wants to get paid.
The man literally got knighted because he spent years working for free for people who couldn’t afford it.
