The attack on a hotel believed to house asylum seekers is beyond comprehension. Such violence not only targets individuals seeking safety and new beginnings but reflects a broader societal issue regarding compassion & acceptance. This is what years of false narratives results in.

It’s difficult to grasp the immense disgust and pain felt across the country at this moment due to the repulsive actions of an ill-educated minority. The fact that many of our friends & neighbours no longer feel safe is deeply shameful and we must do better as a nation

@migranthelp Who is accountable for this? Why didn’t the taxi show up? Why did you say you’d call if he was refused and then you didn’t? I think there needs to be some accountability taken here and some learning as to how you can improve your services

1/5 Appaled at @migranthelp denying my client's request for emergency accommodation because “he has asylum accomm in England”. That property went on fire 5 months ago for which he was wrongly accused of arson and imprisoned for 5 months before being released with no charges..
