@edstetzer Matthew 28:18-20 Until we influence, lead, and mobilize disciples “ to make disciples of all nations” we fall short of Jesus’ mission for a Revelation 5:9 church.
@SteveShadrach AND you couldn’t have been MORE LOVING, KIND, & CHRISTIAN TO DO SO!!Thanks for being Jesus in those moments. You are a blessing Steve - don’t give up - scorn and ridicule are part of the territory! Resistance to our coming King is futile - Maranatha!!
@tedstur Very well thought and written Ted! I sometimes wonder during this crisis if most of what we think we must do is quite knee jerk reactivity. Waiting on God with patience and trust for the Holy Spirit to speak is not one of our strong suits as North American disciples!
@charliekirk11 This is intolerable and will only breed violence and increase the confidence of every criminal element in NYC. Wrong has become right. A great way to kill tourism!
@SteveShadrach Fewer and fewer churches are embracing a cross cultural sending model as well. The Great Commission is quickly disappearing in our postmodern culture.
@fletchboy@UnitedAirlines Rigid mindless policy will crush companies that disempower employees who have the opportunity to create loyalty to their products or services. This is a true sign of an airline on the decline that you should avoid flying! # policiesbeforepeople
"I meet young people, and they want to act and they want to be famous, and I tell them, when you get to the top of the tree, there’s nothing up there. Most of this is nonsense, most of this is a lie.“ -Anthony Hopkins https://t.co/YmxT5aAXlb
Giving a teen boy unfiltered Internet access in his room or his pocket is like filling his closet with pornographic magazines and saying, “Don’t look at them.” If that seems harsh, you don’t understand how many young men are becoming enslaved to porn in their own homes.
@EpicCChurch Most certainly not! Who would send? Also, I don't believe everyone should be "considered" a missionary. The term has been hijacked. @DennySpitters@SixteenFifteen@WEIMissions agrees. More coming soon in my book The Mind of a Missionary, but for now > https://t.co/bLUUXHEBPS
Wow this article is an arrow to the heart!! Recent Barma survey reveals 51% of Christians don’t know the Great Commission. Let’s be convinced in mind and heart of our great Jesus and His gospel!!! https://t.co/8qIFCeTcnH
For too many...Christianity is focused on pleasing ourselves, not rocking the boat, and giving more attention to moralistic behavior change or simple felt-needs advice on making it in the world rather than living out the mission of God… https://t.co/AHkAjAZXPg via @theCGCS
Church leaders working on a definition for Unreached Peoples. What a privilege and blessing it has been to come alongside churches and partner in a conversation that will strengthen their church to fulfill its Great Commission mandate! Thank you @pioneersusa
The Great Commission is so wonderfully freeing because it is big enough to fill the whole world and yet small enough for every single one of us to play a part.
