From my experience, Pokemon cards outside of the English are desirable based off a few key factors
• Country Exclusive (example: [CN] Pokemon TCG Gem Pack)
• Event Exclusive (example: Pokémon Paradise Resort MEP092 San Francisco 2026)
• Better print quality (example: Japanese Pokemon cards are more vibrant and use a thicker cardstock then the US card
---
Since this is just a German reprint and isn't a German exclusive (being in a different language doesn't make it a German exclusive), it's considered a more "niche" card since not many people are looking for the card in German.
Resale value wise, I can see it being bought for 30%~50% off market price.
Current market on the card is $190
I can see it selling for $100 ~ $115
@rebecca_doodles No questions asked
This could be a cartoon about finger puppets and I'd still help crowd fund it. You helped me so I'll do the same in return

@selkiegyuu@official_throne@ThroneSupport Dude that's absolutely not fair, I'm so sorry that you had to go through that.
If this is the level of customer support that @official_throne is giving then I'll be sure to not use them in the future either.
@GrumpySpaceChic Having no personal stake one way or another, this "truth" doc really doesn't do much of anything to refute the complaints that denpa made and how the whole situation was handled incredibly poorly on your part. Prices should NEVER shift like that so late in a project.
Both of us messed this up. I was late, I asked for extras in August, I used a harsh title, and I tagged someone she works with. That’s on me.
It’s not only on me. There was no commercial or PSD price on the June 1 quote. Those got added in August after most of the money was paid. Her rebuttal also put other people’s accounts and private work into a public doc. That pulls in people who weren’t in this commission.
I’m not doing this for clicks. I posted my job. I’m not saying she’s the only one who did harm. I’m saying stop acting like I invented the whole thing by myself.
I get that intentions don't wipe the impact. The title was harsh. Tagging someone she works with was extra. I already said that.
I posted my job because that's the commission I paid for. I didn't list her client roster.
If we're talking about pulling other people in, her rebuttal doc names accounts and shows work that wasn't part of this commission. People have already said they don't want that attached. That's the same problem you're pointing at me for.
I'm not asking anyone to pile onto her. I'm saying this was my experience with this job.
I hear you on the title. "Don't commission" is a warning, and I know how that reads.
I didn't mention her clients over and over. I tagged one account she works with and asked them to comment. That was extra. I shouldn't have done that.
I've said her other clients can have a good experience.
This is my commission
No commercial/PSD prices on the June 1 $1,550 quote, those numbers showed up in August after $1,187.50 was already paid, I ended the job.
You can think that's attention. I'm not posting it to farm. I'm posting what happened on this job.
Yeah, I ended the job. After I asked about a refund I didn't get one I could work with, so I stopped it.
I hired her on June 1 when there was no ToS and no commercial/PSD prices. By August I'd paid $1,162.50. Then Ori went from $400 to $850 on paper and I still didn't get the PSDs.
$1,187.50 of my debut money is gone. You can call the post pathetic. I'm still allowed to say what happened on this commission.
⚠️ DO NOT COMMISSION — @GrumpySpaceChic
I would NOT recommend this artist.
We agreed to a $1,550 commission. Near the end, $700 in additional fees were introduced that were not disclosed upfront.

I hear you. I posted the timeline because of how this job was billed, not to erase every good client she's had.
Neither of us is faultless. I said that in the doc and in a lot of replies. I take accountability for not asking for a commercial/PSD price on June 1.
That doesn't mean we ignore the other side. Those extras weren't listed on the $1,550 quote, most of the money was already paid, and we didn't land on a resolution I could live with.
Dates and screenshots are in the doc if you want them. I'm not going to keep this going comment for comment.
I did talk to her privately. That’s the August 26–27 chat in the doc. I ended the job there.
Your commission going fine doesn’t change mine. June 1 quote had no commercial or PSD prices. Those showed up after I’d already paid $1,162.50. I never got the PSDs.
Other people can keep working with her. I posted what happened on this one.
⚠️ DO NOT COMMISSION — @GrumpySpaceChic

We agreed to $1,550 on June 1. Extra fees that weren’t disclosed then got added near the end.
The original Google Doc got locked. I’m not taking the timeline down.

@myouwuvt@KaxuXuzikaVT@GrumpySpaceChic I didn’t say every VTuber job includes a PSD.
I asked for the files in August. That’s when $400 commercial and $50 per PSD got priced, after I’d already paid $1,162.50. I still didn’t get the PSDs.
Other clients can have a good experience. This is what happened on mine.
I didn’t assume they were free. I assumed extra fees would be listed when I was quoted $1,550.
I should’ve asked for a commercial/PSD price on June 1. That’s on me.
She also didn’t list those extras. No ToS, no $400, no $50 per PSD. Those numbers showed up August 26 after I’d already paid $1,162.50, and I never got the PSDs.
So part of it is on me. The rest is still “put the prices on the original quote.”
@DocileVT Its a great platformer gamer that has movement similar to Super Mario Sunshine.
I highly recommend looking into it. Its such a blast to play
