Our Health & Wellbeing Centre win again! This time they have secured the Safeguarding Inclusion Award with the Safeguarding and Child Protection Association, which is part of Boarding Schools' Association
🎉 This award celebrates efforts to promote diversity and build a culture of inclusion, and we’re proud to share the work we've done with The Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation. Through this partnership, we’re helping to widen access to opportunities for children facing a range of vulnerabilities. 🌟

Remembrance Day at Denstone College is a solemn and important occasion that honours the sacrifices made by former pupils, staff, and community members from Denstone College and Smallwood Manor who served in the armed forces.
Today, the Prep and Lower School Pupils held a ceremony to pay respects to those who lost their lives in conflicts, especially focusing on alumni who served in the World Wars.
Pupils, parents and staff gathered to reflect on the meaning of the day, listen to readings, and offer prayers.
Denstone College's commitment to Remembrance Day reflects its values of respect, community, and service, emphasising to students the importance of remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. #DenstoneCollege #TPDC #RemembranceDay2024 #WeWillRememberThem @PrepDenstone

Congratulations to Philips House - rightful winners of House Music (and always good to see a soul/big band contained within just one house…) #ItStartsHere
Huge congratulations to Sophie who has been selected for the Womens U19 World Cup 2025 squad, to be held in Malaysia. Sophie will be one of the non-travelling reserves but will take part throughout the preparation phase and act as a stand-by player should a replacement player be required.
Sophie says: I am delighted to be selected into the England U19 training squad for the 2025 World Cup. It really is an exciting opportunity to be able to train alongside some experienced players in an England environment which will challenge me and progress my game. Playing for Central Sparks in the academy and being named in the senior squads at the end of the season has given me exposure to a professional environment. Denstone College has given me so much support with my cricket. I have received many opportunities such as touring to Barbados which was an invaluable experience and being able to play in various teams including both the senior boys’ teams and captaining the girl’s 1st XI.
This year, Sophie will complete her A Levels at Denstone and we can’t wait to follow her continued success. We wish Sophie and the team all the best for the World Cup.

Congratulations to our Denstone College cricketers who have been nominated as the winners of The Forty Club Trophy National Award. This is an incredible achievement and a credit to our pupils and their coach.
This prestigious cricket award recognises sportsmanship, performance and skills, individuals and the team. Alongside those categories, The Forty Club also consider behaviour on and off the field and general turnout.
Here at Denstone, we have an extensive cricket programme noted for its quality of fixtures, coaching and strong performances, which no doubt contributed to the success in securing this award.
The College were initially nominated as the 2024 district winners in the East Midlands which was an equally fantastic achievement and prior to this, won the regional award back in 2013. This however, is the first time we have won the national award; well done to everyone that took part, you should all be extremely proud.
Representatives from the College will be collecting the award at the annual Forty Club dinner in the Long Room at Lord's.
