President and CEO of (GUBA) Grow Unite Build Africa- Board member FC Petrocub -Senior Consultant for Recording Academy (Grammys) - Board member Concordia
Some days remind you why you do the work.
I was deeply humbled to receive citations and recognitions from Governor Daniel McKee, Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos, General Treasurer James Diossa, Mayor Brett Smiley, and Congressman Gabe Amo during the 2026 Ghana Flag Raising Ceremony in Providence, Rhode Island.
What makes this recognition particularly meaningful is that this journey only began a few months ago. When I first came to Rhode Island in March, my goal was simple: to build relationships, create opportunities, and strengthen connections between Ghana, the diaspora, and the State of Rhode Island. To stand here today and receive recognition from state, city, and federal leaders is both unexpected and deeply humbling.
While my name may appear on these certificates, this recognition belongs to everyone who believes in the power of the diaspora to build bridges, create opportunities, and strengthen relationships between Ghana, the United Kingdom, the United States, and beyond.
As I accepted these honours, I reflected on the journey, the partnerships formed, and what can be achieved when government, business, and communities work together with a shared vision. This moment is a reminder that meaningful collaboration can create lasting impact.
My sincere thanks to the State of Rhode Island, the City of Providence, Congressman Gabe Amo, the Ghanaian Association of Rhode Island, and last but certainly not least, @boatspvd Jude Amoako. None of this would have been possible without you. The phone call you made to me in March set this entire journey in motion, and I am grateful for your belief, partnership, and commitment to bringing our communities together.
This recognition is not the destination; it is motivation to continue building bridges, strengthening relationships, and creating opportunities for generations to come.

Honoured and grateful to be included in the UK Black Stars List, recognising influential British-Ghanaians shaping public life, business, and culture across the United Kingdom.
It was a wonderful evening at the Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons, connecting with so many inspiring Ghanaians and celebrating the impact of our diaspora.
Congratulations to my friend @bell_ribeiroaddy MP and the APPG on Ghana for organising such a meaningful event, and it was also great to see our Ghana High Commissioner @miss_zee5 and so many distinguished guests championing Ghanaian excellence.
A proud moment to celebrate both Ghana’s Independence Day and the incredible contributions of British-Ghanaians.
