Our patient presented with a primary complaint of discomfort with an upper partial denture and difficulty eating. Due to bone loss, the posterior upper teeth had failed, and the remaining teeth were showing advanced signs of tooth mobility. ⁠

We provided a full arch solution, a standard all-on-4, plus two pterygoid implants for maximum support and comfort. ⁠

Pterygoid implants are placed at the very posterior extremity of the upper jaw to provide a comprehensive full-jaw solution with twelve teeth for patients who have reduced bone in the upper anterior region. ⁠

Our patient presented with a primary complaint of upper problem teeth. This patient had suffered from gum disease for several years. Despite regular visits to her dentist and hygienist, the natural teeth became unstable and mobile. ⁠

Over time, the posterior upper teeth were removed, and then gradually the anterior teeth became more inclined, and more spaces appeared between the upper teeth.⁠
⁠
This patient has a broad, beautiful and youthful smile; hence, we opted to place six implants with the inclusion of two pterygoid implants, one on each side. With six upper implants, we were able to provide a complete full upper jaw solution with twelve teeth.⁠
⁠
The final fixed implant bridge was made with zirconia and titanium reinforcement. ⁠
