A 37-Year-Old Mother Is In The Denton County, Texas Jail After Police Say She Stabbed Her Husband & Their Two Young Children Inside Their Northlake, Texas Home Early Tuesday.

Northlake Police Say A 34-Year-Old Man Called 911 Around 4:20 A.M. From The 1200 Block Of Daylily Drive, East Of I-35W. He Told Dispatchers His Wife Had A Knife & Had Stabbed Him.

Officers Got There Within Minutes & Detained 37-Year-Old Holly Leeann Flores, Police Said.

Inside The Home They Found The Husband With A Stab Wound To His Head.
They Also Found A 3-Year-Old Girl & A 10-Month-Old Boy.
Both Children Had Stab Wounds To The Chest.

The Dad & Both Kids Were Rushed To A Fort Worth Hospital. Flores Was Taken To A Hospital In Denton. She Was Later Released & Booked Into The Denton County Jail.

Police Chief Robert Crawford Said The Injuries Are Not Life-Threatening & The Family Is Expected To Be Okay. He Called The Scene "Very, Very Heartbreaking" & Asked For Prayers For The Family & For His Officers.

Flores Faces Two Counts Of Attempted Capital Murder & One Count Of Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon. Those Charges Mean Police Believe She Tried To Kill The Children & Attacked Her Husband With A Knife. A Charge Is Not A Guilty Finding.

The Chief Said Flores Has Told Officers Almost Nothing. He Said She Has Mostly Sat In A Stare.

Police Said Officers Had Been Called To The Home About Five Times Since March, Mostly For Welfare Checks. Detectives Are Still Investigating. The Husband & Children Remain In The Hospital With Family Beside Them.
