He didn’t need to be patient because going to Chelsea already confirmed he was either going to break into the first team, get a good loan (which he did) or get sold to a good team (which he also did)

@ampaulheymanguy @cosmicfray10 @nolimitafc @tetagoon Doubt it. He left in 22/23 and we bought Marquinhos. Also had cozier duberry. He was up against 1 or 2 people for a backup role. He went chelsea then ended up becoming a prem regular. Leaving arsenal worked

@cosmicfray10 @nolimitafc @tetagoon Him going to Chelsea made him grow organically. He would’ve had a worse loan at Arsenal and probably wouldn’t have been sold to a championship/prem club. Chelsea always had better pathways for youngsters than Arsenal which is why he left in the first place.
