I'm 2.500 words into my book, with lots of time left to write today. With all of the changes I made yesterday, I'm determined to finish this draft in days instead of weeks. I'm on the right track with it, and plan to knock it out of the park.
What a roller coaster of a day. I fired my publisher and took the helm of my own destiny. I haven't written as many words yet as I wanted, but I feel quite accomplished anyway. And the day is still young. Plenty of time left to write. Wish me luck!
3,000 words today or bust. It's a cool autumn morning and I've got a nice hot cup of coffee beside me. It's the perfect recipe for productivity. Onward!
@Mvm68457824 I think that at least one of those poor dogs is no longer alive. That's the only reason I can think of that she doesn't take pictures with them.
It's barely 10am, and I've already got over a thousand words written. I hope to get another thousand in before the storm hits. We'll likely lose power, and I don't want to have to work on this draft by longhand and transcribe it later. I'll do what I have to, but wish me luck.
Writing with a cat curled up on my lap, cool air and sunlight coming in the window, and an inspired muse that's letting me fly through it: pretty much my idea of heaven on earth.
