Lefties: we should probably punch Nazis
Right-wingers: the violent left is threatening me, & I’m not a Nazi!
Lefties: if you’re not a Nazi, then it doesn’t apply to you.
RW: so much for the tolerant left & they’re racist for calling me a Nazi!

@walsbri004@politico No. They’re using different survey respondents. This is why there’s error rates. They’re typically +-3 points. So, with the error taken into account, a 4-point increase is utterly meaningless.
@jakefm Continue directing our anger towards the wealthy elite. They’ve more than earned that anger. They won’t change until enough formally wealthy/ middle class individuals become more impoverished themselves. It may be a matter of time.
@jakefm Ah, that’s the failure of human prioritizing. There’s enough wealth and resources in the world to end both human suffering and repair Notre Dame. It’s all a matter of choice, not ability. We should all be outraged, but it’s not the fault of Notre Dame...

@BrianDunning 🤨 what bias type are you displaying by presenting this as evidence to your point as opposed my points that were made where I also added an article by the guardian about US corporate Oligarchy?
@skelliot@BrianDunning It’s entirely made up to diminish progressive voices and ideas. In the US, the progressive left is actively attempting to remove monied interests from the political system. Those special interest groups are fighting back using propaganda such as labeling them as “alt-left”.
@BrianDunning I actually provided a more nuanced perspective with an article that highlights the problem pertaining to money in politics, arguing the case that the US is more akin to an corporate Oligarchy. Feel free to quote tweet that so ppl can get a better idea of how “alt-leftists” think.
@BrianDunning If the “alt-left” wants to address the massive injustices in the US, that is partly due to the billionaires who buy themselves policies and laws; how is this remotely similar to neonazi?
