I work in Westlands Nairobi. My current net salary is Ksh 165,000. I have been working for 8 years and honestly, I don't see anything I have done. I only managed to buy a car.

Here are my expenses:
Rent:Ksh 65,000
Fuel:Ksh 30,000
Wi-fi:Ksh 6,200
Water+electricity:Ksh 5,000
Shopping + food":Ksh 30,000
Entertainment:Ksh10,000
Others:Ksh10,000
total:Ksh150,000 to Ksh180,000

I rarely remain with anything to save.

I want to start saving at least Ksh 40,000 monthly. I am getting old, currently at 39. Nearly all my friends have build their homes and married. Which adjustments should I make to my salary?
