@taj1944 I actually understand the decision to have a proper plan in place after they fire him (ideally with a pres of ops and new gm), but what's stopping them from just having Shaw as an interim coach in the meantime? Every game with this staff just poisons the team a little bit more.

@ArashMemarzadeh Closest to whichever vendor sells the $18 Lobster Rolls, of course.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@ArashMemarzadeh Like when Don Cheadle replaced Terrance Howard in Iron Man 2. I'll take that replacement.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@RockChimera @NEWS1130 No, it also massively, massively reduces the chances of getting it.

Being a Canucks fan leading up to free agency is like waiting for test results from the doctor. You're preparing for the worst as you run the variety of "worst case scenarios" through your head.

@unmaskedaudio @afrodiziac80 @blackreignfire @MishaGreen @rodimusprime Fair enough, that's a really good point.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@blackreignfire @MishaGreen @rodimusprime Yeah how about something like the Wire which ran for 5 seasons? It was incredibly progressive for when it came out. Watchmen too. HBO would have done a second season if the creator was game for it.

@ArashMemarzadeh @JohnBlood @thesequalizers Let's do it baybee

[Derek James @Derek_James]

Post-COVID era Vancouver Canucks gameplan after the first 20 minutes.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@Pucksonnetca @Canucks This is 100 percent a tweet by @ArashMemarzadeh. Bet my life on it.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@ArashMemarzadeh Howard's the sort of guy who would include the outcome of the coin toss in the bet.

[Memarzadeh @ArashMemarzadeh]

*me trying to find Kevin Garnett so he can give me back a precious opal gemstone in order to pay for a three-way parlay bet during the 2nd half*

Everyone is talking about how Cyberpunk is the new Crysis, but let's not ignore the fact that modern hardware STILL can't play it at a locked 60 fps. What a world.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@JennWFox It's almost as if most issues are nuanced, and people are multi-faceted! Crazy how some people can't grasp that.

[Derek James @Derek_James]

@Realtor_Rod @dubsndoo Overrated, yeah. Still above average in his last year. 16td, 450 rushing yards, 4 int. Not a starter imo, but could have hung around as a backup for a few more years of income. He never was a superstar, I agreen with you on that.
