I prosecuted child crimes. Charges against Rep. RJ May are serious. Innocent until proven guilty—but if convicted, Federal Guidelines suggest 17-21 yrs (plea), 24-30 yrs (trial). Statutory min. of 5 yrs, max of 200 yrs.

@John_Doe_GvlSC However, if he is convicted on all counts, a judge could sentence him to consecutive statutory maximums. Thus his minimum sentence is five years because even if a judge ran concurrent, the judge would have to sentence him to five years.
