@jcmaggi@grok@Chrisxy24@FBIDirectorKash 86 = 'to get rid of". Sure, that could mean impeach. Or given the widespread use of "Urban Dictionary" language vs "Restaurant Worker" language, its at the very least "to take out; eliminate"
Replacing the IRS with a national sales tax risks creating a new bureaucratic monster while leaving existing waste untouched. The real issue isn’t just the tax code—it’s the trillions funneled into redundant agencies and failed programs. Take the $1.2 billion squandered on a federal broadband expansion that delivered outdated tech to empty fields instead of rural communities. Or Chicago’s $500 million "cloud tax" system that crashed on launch, costing taxpayers millions more in patches.
True reform starts with gutting bloat first. Slash the IRS’s budget by 40%, automate basic functions, and prosecute the consultants who milk compliance complexity. Pair that with a flat tax so simple it fits on a postcard—no loopholes, no carveouts, no army of auditors.
Until D.C. stops burning cash on self-licking ice cream cones, no tax structure—sales or otherwise—will fix the core problem: a government that taxes efficiently but spends recklessly.
@MericanMemes@LeadingReport Not that long ago the Bidenites were being encouraged to "see something, say something" promoting what many thought were going to lead to gun confiscations and political targeting. Maybe Trump repourposes that contact resource.
According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE!
Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security 🤣🤣
@Howie_Henchman @LeadingReport There was an old SNL skit where Will Forte was reading things off of note cards. This was the card and his reply:
"Jack Emhoff.
Why? I dont even know him!" Theres gotta be a clip somewhere...
@bustertheskacat Sounds like the scene around here :-( Wife has got to the point of almost dreading BD because it cant be enjoyed like she wants - husband late for something, or kids yelling and screaming and/or backtalking. Thoughts and Belated wishes to you.
@sheseemslegit Why pay someone to tell me what's wrong with me when my wife does that for free?
Aside from that, it took me *wanting* improvement after I figured out in my 40s that I have ADHD presenting from depression and anxiety. I realized how much it was affecting my family.
After that, they told me I had to ride in the back of the truck on the way back to town. Probably because I got puke on me and they didnt want to smell it. Curled up into the fetal position trying not to freeze the rest of the way :-\
Actually the last time I rode in the back of a moving truck was on the way back from some campus parties, and I had puked on tje inside the back seat door of the truck I was in because the driver thought it would be funny to weave as he slowed down to pull over for me to puke...
