Couple of things on this—never worked with the guy but heard all good stuff.

But the press release that was sent about his move, which @Variety @DEADLINE @Mediaite and others picked up, misidentifying the station in Charlotte…it’s WJZY, not WJYZ.

In Gaston County court this afternoon for the case involving Sean Simpson. He’s the 16 year old being charged as an adult with murder. He’s accused of killing 16 year old Zaquavious Dawkins on Sunday. Updated in this thread. Background: https://t.co/9xsfkO10YB

Prosecutors noted the specifics of the case, saying the two victims (the one who died and another, who was injured) were walking along the road when they were shot by the suspect.

Simpson could be seen wiping away tears and collapsed when told he was being held w/o bond.

He's going to be held without bond in this case.

In Gaston County court today for Shawn Christenbury. He's the man accused of setting fire to a home. A man inside could not get out and died in the blaze. He's facing first-degree murder and arson charges, along with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Updates to come.
