@jason_king72 Jason, you need to come onboard with the good side and fight to reverse this terrible tax. Do you really want to be remembered by yours and others children as the person who fought for the indefensible tax that destroys their future?
Spender’s proposed solution shows she still has 0 economics. Budget paper 1 at pg 149 showed current 50% discount UNDERCOMPENSATED for inflation by 4%! Why then reduce the discount!! Increasing it to 55% or 60% is genuine tax reform that grows the economy, or a flat 15% CGT.
We could be looking at 75 k to 100 k ounces of sandstone royalty attributable gold production over a 10 to 30 year period, where they’ll get a 2% revenue royalty at 0 cost, 1/2 that in first two years of production. Raleigh Finlayson wanting in is the icing on the cake!
Just at the Piazza Del Duomo, Milan midafternoon contemplating the BTR Monday announcement and RHI implications, re Sandstone Royalty value as one does! It feels quite positive.
@deepvalueguy1 Yes, they are this hideous combination that typically lies in between Labor and the Greens on most issues, and sometimes to the left of the Greens on the other issues!
Spender is an utter disgrace and part responsible for this highest capital gains tax in the world mess. At least now she’s realised what a f… up it is; and how it destroys our economy! When will Labor realise a 70% tax rate l, and lying about it, doesn’t work👇
@BullivanteTV 50% discount still too higher tax rate I meant to say. On average it slightly undercompensates for inflation; taxes capital at a higher are than Labour.
@BullivanteTV Yes, exactly, 50% discount still too high, taxes capital slightly more than labour which no reputable economist supports. So her 40% discount is a less worse version of Labor’s ghastly stuff that is the opposite of tax reform!
@jason_king72 Read Treasury Budget Paper 1 at page 149; it found on average 50% discount UNDERCOMPENSATED for inflation by 4% on average over the last 20 years. I’ll send it to you when back from holidays in Europe.
@PunishedJeanLuc Yes, that would be fine and good, and or a flat rate at 15% exempting the first 20k or so of CGs per year a year is also fine, simple and equitable
That is so ridiculous and corrupt! Labor spending $300 k per machete bin to make mates rich👇. My guess is Labor MPs have indirect share holdings or interests in the companies making these bins.

And that's the simple independent AI analysis and explanation for why Labor 2026 Budget tax increases on investing kill the growth and innovation in the economy.

Who got all the contracts? Every single ridiculous one? All of them crazily overpriced. all to friends. All sending the state bankrupt. Who got the 1.6million one for pot plant hire to two Big Build offices????? Public register of all taxpayer money spent now! Right fucken now. Fuck this shit. It cost lives. A lot of lives. Thieves.
Photo shows collision of the African + European tectonic plates at the Swiss Alps. Trapped between these plates as they collide is what Labor has done to us: 70% tax on investing, 16% increase in income tax over next 10 years, $1.3 trillion debt, 1.3 babies per lifetime female!
Labor has officially admitted to rorting the system.
Infrastructure Minister Catherine King has confirmed that Labor Party head office, not the department, ran the process behind the Albanese Government’s $560 million community grants scheme.
King’s own words: “Absolutely, it’s an election commitment process, of course that is done through party machinery, not through government machinery.”
The mask has completely slipped.
Out of $560 million in funding, a staggering $409 million went straight to Labor held electorates through a closed, completely non competitive process.
45 electorates weren't even invited to apply.
The blatant pork barrelling includes a $6 million taxpayer funded grant for the Marrickville Golf Club right in Anthony Albanese’s own electorate.
The department itself has confirmed they had zero role in selecting these projects, stating the government didn't even seek their advice. It was entirely dictated by party machinery.
Constitutional law expert Professor Anne Twomey has slammed the scheme as a farce and a form of “grey corruption”, stating: “If federal politicians want to win elections by making promises about swimming pools, golf clubs in their electorates, then they need lessons in integrity.”
This is a deep betrayal of Australian taxpayers.
Funding decisions must be based on merit and community need, not outside party bosses calling the shots to secure votes.
@JohnBB68138609 You’re on topic; you just need to add: think about people being caught between two Colliding tectonic plates, that is what Labor is doing to us: over taxing us and spending on junk!
@headquarters31@KatieGrace2022 Albo didn’t move his mum into better accommodation when he and wife became very well off from successful political careers. I find that a bit perplexing. Doesn’t add up. But I’m sure if asked he’ll tell a few more lies and say he offered and she didn’t want to move etc.
Flint is so courageous. She was the first to call out Albo for his sexism. When Labor MPs were making vile derogatory sexist and violent comments to Flint, she personally asked him to intervene. He instead encouraged it to take her out!👇

Former Liberal MP Nicolle Flint has unloaded on Anthony Albanese, slamming the Prime Minister’s “willingness to lie and to not tell the truth” and branding him “disgusting”.
Flint didn’t hold back. She has repeatedly called out Albanese’s character and leadership:
“Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has proven time and time again over the past week and a half that he is weak and that he is a coward.”
“He has not demonstrated a shred of leadership, I agree completely that he must go.”
“The Australian people will judge him accordingly.”
“This prime minister has to go.”
“Albanese is a disgrace.”
“The Albanese government is an absolute disgrace.”
From Bondi and the refusal of a royal commission, to the erosion of women’s sex based rights, cost of living failures, and a pattern of deflection and denial, Flint has been consistent: Albanese will not tell the truth, will not take responsibility, and is unfit for the job.
Australians deserve better than a Prime Minister defined by a “willingness to lie”.
ANTHONY ALBANESE LIED TO PARLIAMENT ABOUT HIS $6 MILLION GOLF CLUB GRAB AND HIS OWN OFFICE WAS LINING HIM UP FOR A PHOTO OP DAYS BEFORE HIS SECRET MEMBERSHIP WAS EXPOSED.
Anthony Albanese is caught in the headlights again after explosive Freedom of Information (FOI) documents blew the lid off a secret, high level plot to stage a massive media stunt at his inner west golf haven, just five days before his hidden honorary membership was exposed to the public.
Here is how the taxpayer funded cover up unraveled:
Albanese personally promised a staggering $6.05 million facelift to Marrickville Golf Club during the 2025 election, part of a massive $500M pork barrel bonanza targeting Labor seats.
What did he tell Parliament the money was for? Raw sewage and septic fixes.
What do the official government briefs actually say? A shiny upgraded bar, alfresco dining, a new pro shop, and a “dog walking station” for his old stomping ground.
Leaked emails show Transport Minister Catherine King’s office desperately plotting a glossy photo op for Albanese at the club.
A senior adviser eagerly replied: “This is a good one and important locally, would support!”
The PR stunt was axed at the eleventh hour when the ABC exposed Albo's decades long, undisclosed honorary membership.
While the PM claimed the millions were saving the Cooks River from sewage, Inner West Mayor (and former Albo staffer) Darcy Byrne let slip that the NSW Government was already funding the sewerage work under a different program.
Shadow Infrastructure Minister Bridget McKenzie has gone for the throat, declaring: “It is clear the Prime Minister has written a blank cheque to his Marrickville Golf Club and misled the parliament about it!”
Albanese has since scrambled to formally decline the membership, but the Senate inquiry is closing in.
This may well be Albanese’s last stand as Prime Minister.
