@prescottbalch@DHSWI There's just no downside here. If you're right, the vaccine doesn't work and you're out $0 and potentially 24-48 hours of discomfort. If you're wrong, well, just ask those families I mentioned earlier.
@prescottbalch@DHSWI I would urge you to take a moment at some point and reflect on why you're so resistant to a free FDA approved shot that may very well save you from 1-2 weeks of significant discomfort and causing same to your loved ones, and quite possibly killing someone. Maybe even you.
@prescottbalch@DHSWI Have you considered that you're less likey to spread a virus that you don't have? Because you received a free vaccine that makes you substantially less likely to contract it in the first place?
@prescottbalch@DHSWI Because there are other people besides yourself? One of the comorbidities is obesity which afflicts 1/3 of all Wisconsinites! Do you really not know anyone obese? How would you like to kill them because you were unwilling to get a free shot?
@prescottbalch@DHSWI And let's be clear: you can divide the annual fatalities of anything by the total pop and get a low number. You're unlikely to die of anything in a given year! You should probably still quit smoking though, and lay off the red meat, and get your shots.
@prescottbalch@DHSWI Number 3 cause of death. Last winter it was number 1. Do you get a flu shot? Do you get any vaccines for anything? Because COVID is more likely to kill you than anything else we have a vaccine for.
@prescottbalch@DHSWI Right now COVID is the third highest cause of death in the US. Do you wear a seat belt? Because you're more likely to die of COVID than a car accident right now. Also more likely than stroke or COPD or diabetes. https://t.co/p50TrfDYjD
My state records board doesn't let us use a retention of 0 but also doesn't like us using "creation" as a trigger event. Seems like this artificially lengthens retention for no obvious reason
