@prieurdp I can back my Ram in faster than pulling straight in. When backing a truck, the rear wheels follow the path of the front wheels. This alignment allows for tighter control and easier maneuvering into the parking space. Pulling straight in takes me multiple re-alignments.
@JakeBequette91@TravisSkol Tell me you never competed in a minor sport in College as well as your own kids who did also. Most minor sports do not have exhorbitant expenses. Do we want football and bball only or opportunities for competition in other sports. I choose the latter. I realize times change.
@sam_gzstrength@_brianknapp my SS coach likes my form better in socks than lifting shoes because the lifting shoes accentuate a shifting forward. However, back in my lifting shoes now after needing the support post ankle/foot surgery. Unrelated to deadlifting :).
@RightFieldDudes I tired of all the GT whining about not being a home team the last two games against OU. They confuse host team and home team and do not understand the fairness the NCAA has in their rules for equaling out home vs away. I understand their point, but host and home are different.
@OKSooner78@SoonersCoachJB No need for an apology for me. If I read your user name correctly, you and I graduated the same year. Sorry you were offended by heat of the moment language. I certainly was not.
@MattBry61347588@gapanther@NCAA So you think that the NCAA had an Atlanta regional only seeding methodology? The regional home/away has been around a long time. GT was the host, not a guaranteed home team. Search the rules.
@batting201@gapanther@NCAA Apparently mid level SEC teams are better than top ACC teams. GT did not choke, they were beaten in the two games that mattered.
@KevinTroyGA@steakshapiro They are the host team which has nothing to do with being the home team. They have the crowd behind them as an advantage. The NCAA rules treat every team equally in terms of determining home vs away. I finally read the rules to understand it myself.
@Tbaitis@dominiclisti Here is the pertinent rule to save you the trouble.
Fewest times as home team — the team that has been the home team fewer times during the tournament is designated the home team. Like it or not, one has to accept it. Nothing happened to GT other than the rules.
@Tbaitis@dominiclisti Apparently the NCAA rules regarding this have been in a place quite a while. GT was the host site, but that does not mean they get to be home team every game. Maybe you have done so, but look them up. Regardless, giving up big leads is not a good recipe.
@Sooner_K7@espn@SoonerVirginia That call was making it out to be a routine fly ball to center, then a realization that it was a home run. I finally saw the fielders reacting. I had lost the ball on the tv screen and had no clue where it was.
