Just found out today at work because I took a vacation day on Friday it's not considered regular time and so I'm not getting paid OT for the 4 1/2 hours I worked last Saturday. I hate my life. I could've went to Chicago like I wanted to.
This month in 1966, The Monkees released “Last Train to Clarksville.”
Written by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, it was our very first single. A few weeks later, The Monkees premiered on television, and suddenly this little train that could was picking up speed very quickly.
By November, “Last Train to Clarksville” had made its way all the way to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Not a bad way to start, really. I recommend it.
Do you remember the first time you heard “Last Train to Clarksville?" Tell me your story in the comments!

If Heaven and Hell decide that they both are satisfied
Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs
If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

It's been so long since I've seen my group of friends from highschool in person I've forgotten what they sound like except for one. He'll always be unique to me.
