I then reached out to engage Span engineering team on this alternative approach. After many emails and messaging I was finally able to reach Vibhor Kalley and Joey Degges. They contacted me through email to set up a time to discuss this alternative approach. After 2 email exchanges they Ghosted me and never replied to another email. I would be happy to provide you a email chain where I have reached out to them 12 times with no reply.
Moving forward – I would still like to discuss with someone on SPAN engineering team an alternative approach for backup battery interface.
The design that I would like to discuss is:
