There are lots of Hotels and Mansions on the river banks of the Volta Lake all the way from Akosombo to Ada and Sogagope which have suffered some levels of flooding as a result of the water Spillage from the Volta Lake.
Question is, do these properties or investments have the requisite Permits from the Municipal Assemblies they are located within and what level of Land and Spatial Planning went into their siting and construction taking into consideration the water tides and future increase in water levels from the upstream?
Do these investments and tourist attractions have the required insurance covers for their facilities and tourists who visit them In case of future catastrophe?
Or it's all about just sitting or constructing them for the sake of leisure, revenue or habitation.
Let's have broader conversation on some simple things in this regard. Peace ๐ซถ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ
