I am delighted to announce that the Cameroonian healthcare system has just achieved a major breakthrough in cardiology, unprecedented in sub-Saharan Africa. Indeed, the Douala General Hospital successfully performed its first-ever TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) on a 70-year-old patient at high surgical risk. This is a medical achievement that demonstrates the strengthening of our technical platform and the expertise of our teams. On behalf of the President of the Republic, H.E. Paul Biya, and his Government, I congratulate the hospital's top management and the teams that performed this delicate operation. I am very proud of you. With great confidence, Cameroon is moving forward, forward, and forward again.

Cameroon is MY father’s Land, it is YOUR father’s Land, Land of OUR ancestors. It doesn’t belong to just a particular group. To our Armed Forces, You took a sacred oath to protect and defend Cameroon and Cameroonians. Stop being used as tools fashioned against Cameroonians.
