@nicostrid I occasionally check this tag to see what new stuff has been made for it. I wish more of the fics took place AFTER the events of the show. Almost all of the ones I see take place between Zuko joining and Ember Island. They good, but I like post canon more imo.
Leon, you couldn'tve predicted how the fandom would react to the things you posted. It is more on them for assuming this was an official FNAF thing and not thinking about it more. You apologizing despite not needing to shows you are a better person than the people angry at you.
Following my yesterday's post:
The frustration is justified. I admit that some or all of my latest posts were misleading and probably not fair.
I started with sharing some older OST versions, and should've kept it simple and just about the music.
The FNAF community consists of a lot of talented and intelligent people. Some of them have reached out, I collaborated with others, and even had the chance to chat with some of you at PAX. You deserve to be taken more seriously and I'm sorry if you feel betrayed. I was wrong here, and not you.
I take the fall. Not the official developers, not the fans who followed my posts and theorized and not the developer I collaborated with lately, who just wanted to showcase his talent and share something awesome with the community. He'll step forward when he's ready, and I think his game deserves a chance.
Things should've been clarified on a much earlier stage and lack any cross-overs from the original games ost motifs. That have created an unnecessary misconception.
Most of the comments are spot on (Perhaps not the ones featuring hanging silhouettes, or other creative suicidal ideas and proposals, but I understand where it's coming from).
I should concentrate on what I know best, making music. Hopefully for FNAF too, in the future.
"Forgotten Names and Faces" won't be happening, eventually. The only thing that will see light from this project is the ambient piano tone of "Elegant Surrender", that will evolve into something slightly different. I'll share it when it's ready.
Synesthesia album - you've heard bits of it in the 2 latest trailers of the fan game. It'll feature a few dozen of ambient dark tracks, and it'll be placed under CC for Indie DEV's for their projects.
I am often contacted to create music for indie horror fan games. Having this small pool of dark CC tunes is a good start, I guess.
The track featured in the second trailer will be different and not reminiscent of FNAF motifs, you can hear in the first part.
The track from the first sewers trailer is partially out there in the form of an audio puzzle for those who like to solve riddles. You just to need to figure out the password in the ARG. (I'll post the full version later on anyway).
Usually I don't share personal future work plans, but here's a sneak peak.
A lot of sketches and drafts are on the table for my personal music projects, like a full album of Deep Purple / KISS influenced tracks named after extreme coffee drinks (wink wink).
Dark Synthwave album - Long overdue...
"Insomniac Clockmaker" - in the making. It's a dark steampunk/mediaeval album with a LOT of clock noises, dark tones, tiny bits and of course harpsichords and a dulcimer.
It's just a small percentage of it. But that's irrelevant right now.
To sum things up, this is an official apology.
And now.... the the archers -
@ohfortheloveofg I guess, I suppose it's more that I'm not really the type of person to get this upset about... really anything. My reaction to this whole situation could probably best be summarized by that Jeremy Clarkson "Oh no anyways" meme. Comes with being lazy lol
The FNAF fandom can be so gullible sometimes lol. It just make much sense. Also stop blaming him for not speaking up sooner, maybe Leon was busy with other stuff and didn't see the reaction after posting what he did. We just don't know so we can't really judge him.
Ok guys. This went too far. The latest teasers are NOT #FNAF RELATED. Nothing Official related to Scott Cawthon or Steel Wool.
There's a fan game in the making by a talented individual. I was working on a dark ambient music album called Synesthesia, and decided to contribute tracks from this collection to this upcoming fan game. It went sideways.
This music album is still in the making, but it's not FNAF related.
I'd like to apologize to anyone who was mislead / confused / sleep deprived.
Some good music is on the way...
It is also disheartening to see so many people trying to either find reasons to blame Leon for this even though it is not really his fault or are trying to cope and claim that there is some sort of secret announcement in all this. Bruh this is why I rarely tell people I like FNAF
