Draymond on helping Thomas Haugh with his NBA Draft Decision
“When he (Will Richard) told me the number in millions that he'd make if he stayed at Florida, I was like "oh no question he should go back", once we got on the phone with Thomas the number was actually higher than Will thought or had told me it was...He's gonna solidify himself as one of the greatest Gators ever at his dream school, I just don't know it gets much better than that.”
Andrew 'Beef' Johnston gives an honest assessment of his day after dropping down the leaderboard after holding the 36-hole lead.
"Frustrating. Frustrating finish. Too many mistakes. For some reason I missed another tap-in, nearly missed two today somehow.
"I thought I hit a good drive on 14 and it kicked off that mound back in the trap. It was one of those days that's close. Just got to iron out the mistakes for tomorrow.
"Coming in one or two under, right at the top near the lead, but going into the final day four shots behind rather than two you would say is the frustrating bit. Just making basic mistakes, you know.
"But I've got to be kind to myself as well. It's been a long time (since I've been) up in the last groups. I thought I handled it well, so rock on tomorrow!"

A resurgence in form and a sensational Friday 62, but what's changed for Andrew 'Beef' Johnston? 🤔
"With the injury I looked at stuff that I could personally sort of be better at and I started going back into the gym and I felt really compressed.
"There's a nice little coffee shop in Perth next door and there's a yoga place next door and I was like, 'do you know what? I'm just going to wander in and have a look in, ask a few questions' and I found this yoga teacher and she has been brilliant.
"I just think my body's been a lot more flexible, day-to-day I’m feeling better and when I came back, I hadn't seen Goughy (coach Jamie Gough) for a year.
"He just said ‘you're moving so much better and the club's in such a better position’ and I think it's a big part to do with that."

Andrew 'Beef' Johnston played Thursday's final nine holes blind after missing the chance to play the back nine in Wednesday's pro-am due to thunder and lightning reducing the day's play.
"Look, it's all really fiddly. I wouldn't say I'm the best at maths, either. You're going with altitude, the 5%, and there's wind. A couple of times me and Jess had to double check the number three or four times.
"You do have that moment on a few holes where you hit it and are like 'is that good?' and I look at Jess and he's like 'don't look at me!'.
"It was unfortunate that we never got to play the nine yesterday in the pro-am but it's all good."
Beef shoot level par on the back for a round of 67 to sit T25 after day one.
