An 11-year-old girl from Sandy died suddenly this weekend after suffering a brain aneurysm.

I spoke to her mom Kelli Winfrey who said they spent a perfect day together Saturday before her daughter Peyton complained of a sudden headache and blurry vision.

After giving her a cold cloth and having her lay down she checked in on her daughter to find her unconscious. Emergency crews worked to revive her and rushed her to the hospital.

Her mom Kelli told me her daughter was born on Christmas, and she was the perfect gift.

Doctors telling the family her death was "one in a billion" for someone so young. She is a stay-at-home mom of six kids and planning services for her daughter.

Peyton, “played a big part in her school. She was the crossing guard captain, and she was a reporter of the schools news station that they have called PSN (Penn Station News).

She was the best big sister anyone could ever have, she was so kind, loving, nurturing, silly, responsible, and a safe place for everyone especially her siblings. And absolutely loved by all that have met her."

Her mom told me she will miss “the sound of her laugh and her dimples when she smiled” adding she gave the best hugs and cuddles.

This is a reminder for us all to tell the people around us that we love and show them because days are never promised.
