Somehow a “one hour- hour an a half” car inspection turned into five, missed a 10 AM walkthrough. The only way to contact the owner (older in his 80s) was landline. Called him at 11, told him I’d pick him up and take him back to the property for the walkthrough. By any means 😂

Closed on our rental property Friday and started getting it ready for a tenant. We decided to call the attached property since it looked vacant. Got ahold of the owner, and he said the last tenant was a hoarder and we could just have it. Gave us the lockbox code…
