Between the Knicks winning the NBA Finals, the World Cup, and NYC’s usual summer fun, the city is buzzing—and the MTA is at the center of it all. We’ve reached new ridership highs in the past week:

• Subway ridership was above 3 million on 6/13, when the Knicks won, and more people took the train after midnight than on New Year's Eve.
• On 6/18, the day of the Knicks parade, @LIRR and @MetroNorth both hit new post-COVID ridership records: 369,482 and 302,486 riders, respectively.

More events are on the horizon, including celebrations for America’s 250th anniversary and the World Cup finals—and you can count on us to get you where you're going.
