I've worked with a Japanese company and had to stay awake most nights, I learned I could actually treat my sleep like loan and repayment, it became too easy.

That's not a windows issue, if it was, mine would disappear too.
You probably did something the wrong way, fix it... Windows are really really easy to fix. Go to Reddit or smth, a cmd prompt would like fix your issue or some regedit edit.
