I have never launched a memecoin before, when people reached out to me mentioning anything crypto related i would block them.

But the team that created Juan memecoin spoke to me for months.

Acted like my friends and that they had Juans best interest at heart, and that i would receive createor revenue from the platform,

They mentioned there was a 1 week holding time before they could release the funds to me,

Every time i asked they would change the subject, when people would attack my dms i would reach out

They reassured me everything would be done properly and the community would love it.

Unfortunately that is not what happened.

I watched something i had created years ago that became so great in internet culture end up in the hands of people who do not care about Juan like me.

I received many DMs from people asking to launch the coin for me, or they will pay me x amount.

No one will ever care about my creation as much as me.

I hope the community helps me out as i do not know much of anything right now and i am still learning.

I remember the day I made the juan meme I showed it to my sister, and she said it gave her the feeling of looking at an abstract painting.

I swear I don’t know what it is but I know juan will get even bigger over the years. The fact I’m here with you guys now is like the start of something.❤️❤️❤️

People have been asking me to share the Juan origin story before so here it goes

I created the meme ''JUAN'' in June 2020, 6 years ago.

I found the horse sitting on a balcony, and as I am a graphic designer, I decided just adding "Juan" to the picture without changing a thing would be funny. I posted it on my Instagram when a Spanish page messaged me showing me they had made a video with it.

That video blew up, and as all big memes that break containment do, Juan grew bigger and bigger. Before I knew it, my meme broke the internet.

I used to receive messages from pages asking me to make a memecoin about it, but I was skeptical of getting in trouble.

What changed me was seeing my work taken and never contributed back to me again.

I thought the only way to bring my artwork back was by putting my meme on the blockchain

Over the years, I saw Juan on Reddit posts, Facebook posts, Instagram, and pretty much everywhere.

I would see YouTube videos with 20 million+ views being monetised, and it's hard not to feel sad about it.

I am ever so grateful to the community for embracing Juan.

I watched countless videos and studied different memes since yesterday.

As much as one can be proud of oneself without sounding arrogant, I am happy to have created the greatest meme on the internet, and I hope Juan lives on long after I have left this world.

It was really touching seeing people find my Instagram as hidden lore and leave comments saying, "This is where it all began." It felt like a treasure hunt, and they had found the treasure.
