There should be no such thing as a low-probability setup in your trading plan. If a setup is not high probability, leave it alone. The market does not pay you for being active. It pays you for making the right decisions.

I have been holding swing sell positions on Gold since May. We are now in July. I identified the setup, entered the trade, managed my risk, and gave the position enough time to develop.

Meanwhile, 95% of traders have taken more than 50 trades during the same period, blown several accounts, and still have little or nothing meaningful to show for all that activity. That is not professional trading. That is gambling disguised as execution.

Your performance is not measured by how many trades you take. It is measured by the quality of your setups, how well you manage risk, and how much capital you protect.

Trading is not about how many positions you open. It is about how many bad trades you have the discipline to avoid.

One high-probability trade can outperform 50 forced trades. Stop confusing constant trading with progress. Real traders wait. The best traders are not the ones who trade the most. They are the ones who wait the longest for the highest-quality opportunities.
