The Delaware Senate voted 16-5 to pass an LGBTQ Pride resolution. 4 Republicans (Lawson, Wilson, Hocker , and Richardson vote “ No”. Only one Democrat voted “ No “- Bruce Ennis. Stonewall supported Ennis’ Primary opponent last year. To not even acknowledge Pride!!

Out of concern for the health of our guests, Delaware Stonewall PAC is canceling it August 15 fundraiser and endorsement announcements. Endorsements will be announced beginning next month. Contributions to endorsed candidates will be made where it will help their election.

The Supreme Court ruled that law prohibiting employers from discriminating on the basis of sex applies to LGBTQ+ individuals. Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Gorsuch joined the 4 liberal justices in this 6-3 decision

Attorney General Kathy Jennings addressed De Stonewall’s annual meeting yesterday. She informed us that a bill establishing an Office of Civil Rights..is on the Wednesday agenda of the House Administration Committee. Ask leadership to vote it onto the floor this week. SB96
