It sounds similar to another conference resume of a team in the playoff (with the worst loss), which isn't questioned. Perhaps the issue isn't joining a conference?

Multiple things I think are true about the final bracket:

-Putting Miami ahead of Notre Dame is the correct choice.

-Flipping them at the last second is ridiculous. The process this whole time has been awful.

-Both teams are better than Alabama.
