It does appear that crying and flopping is still the way to win in the @NBA via the @OfficialNBARefs. I have a high tolerance for the officiating because it's a very difficult job, but it's very clear that the @Pistons ethical basketball (aka - not flopping) is being punished.
@KuKhahil Clippers play the absolute worst style of basketball to watch, and when the 3 with the whistles accommodate it, it's absolutely trash to watch. LeVert took more contact on his layup than Cade's 3 "fouls" offered combined.
@BobbyRobert99 @rtoma9 Correct - for THIS year. But perhaps ND has started the process of blowing up ESPN's Bowl game cash cow. Long term impacts could be MUCH greater.
@RobertSportsBet@ABLichtenstein So, ultimately, being in a conference really doesn't matter then. It's all subjective "merit" based evaluations. Which is my original point.
@RobertSportsBet@ABLichtenstein 11-2, lost in conf. championship, lost to the #4 team twice and they don't deserve to be in on the merits? It sounds similar to another conference resume of a team in the playoff (with the worst loss), which isn't questioned. Perhaps the issue isn't joining a conference?
Multiple things I think are true about the final bracket:
-Putting Miami ahead of Notre Dame is the correct choice.
-Flipping them at the last second is ridiculous. The process this whole time has been awful.
-Both teams are better than Alabama.
@DanWolken Correct. Although Indiana is thrilled to know that even if they lose to Ohio State in the championship game, they will still be the champions because they beat them yesterday.
