@IAmEricVincent Having just an average offensive game makes Ausar Thompson lethal. That was holding him back from being a “great player” rather than just a “great defender”.

@PastorDavidUde @BrewerSooner Surgery was months ago and it hasn’t phased him. Henderson is not a better pitcher than Skubal. Let’s just stop with that. A great young pitcher, yes, but in a 7 game series, I want Skubal pitching over Henderson three times. Now you get to face Skubal instead of having him.

@PastorDavidUde @BrewerSooner Not crazy at all. You’d be getting the best pitcher in baseball to pair with Miz, the 2nd best pitcher in baseball. You just prefer not to b/c of team control. But would’ve given you the chance to beat the dodgers. Brews opted for the future instead of going all in.

What I’m saying is that if you want the best pitcher in baseball, do better than dodgers. Brewers didn’t do that. Zyhir hope was the headliner, not Ryan.

@DarkoStateNews No question he’s an elite talent. But no matter how great he was, he’ll never be a Tiger great the way JV or Miggy are. He can save all the crying unless he ends up signing back here next year. the money we gave framber tells me the money was there for Skubal if he wanted it.

@Trenkens @Baseballfansam9 @TonyKastner34 Miz is a superstar. Skubal has also accomplished more, still pitching like an ace, and still the best pitcher in the game. Miz not far behind. That 1-2 punch would be lethal against a dodgers offense in a 7 game set.

Some teams, such as brewers, will be losers if they don’t make this trade. They’d have Skubal and Miz to face dodgers in the postseason. What an advantage to have against that juggernaut.
