@greggsymonds@Patrick80122519@604RAW As one of the people who would be rescuing this guy i can tell you, there is no risk on our part. Jumping wake ain't hurting no one.
@TheLaurenChen@TheRealThelmaJ1 At the end of the day no crime has to have been committed for it to be reprehensible.
Not everything has to be illegal for it to be wrong.
@counterconor Universal Canadian style licensing with mandatory safety training and background checks. Safe storage laws, possibly with a limited self defense carve out.
None of our retarded arbitrary classification system, mag size restrictions or authorization to transport.
@RedNorvell@AndyStumpf77@Malinowski it doesn't work if you can just cross state lines and grab a firearm right next door. These laws would have to be federal and universal. These aren't a panacea, they are a step in the process, policing gang violence is another massive part.
@Radnorguy@AndyStumpf77@Malinowski It doesn't stop criminals, you are correct. It does help stop kids accessing parents firearms and shooting up schools ( storage laws). This isn't meant to be a panacea, its a step in the process. Mental health support, and yes proactive aggressive policing are all part of it.
@AndyStumpf77@Malinowski Licensing, including mandatory safety training and background checks, safe storage laws maybe with some kind of self defense carve out, and basically any of the stuff Canada does without the ridiculous classification system and stupid transport laws.
