Nice! For high-perf stuff, IMHO Swift biggest weaknesses are:
- unpredictability of performance, especially no in-language way to spell “do this under the hood, or error”
- no general & safe way to not get ARC traffic

@librarianbe @morganmoller Das enkel een fout in de geconsolideerde wetgeving. Niet de officiële wetgeving dus.

Wel belachelijk dat die wetgeving nog steeds niet gestructureerd wordt ingegeven zodat de geconsolideerde versies automatisch gegenereerd kunnen worden ipv mensen die dat manueel overtypen 🤦

@tperfitt OK thanks I will look into that. Do the feitian readers work with the Apple TKSmartCardSlotManager APIs or do they have proprietary APIs? Because I'd rather not lock my clients into one smart card reader vendor ;)

@tperfitt Yes but even when the smartcard reader with usb adapter is not connected I get the "connecting to slot registration server failed" error. So I guessed it had nothing to do with the reader. Because on macOS I can get a slot manager even when no readers are connected.
