You think crypto is a scam because your bank works.

Living in Paris, I used to nod along when people called it a scam or a solution looking for a problem. Our transfers are instant. Our currency holds its value. Our banking just works.

Then I read @VittoStack 's article, "You Think Blockchain Is a Scam Because Your Bank Works," and it named something I had been circling in my own conversations for months: we judge financial technology from the comfort of the system we happen to live inside.

Move that same person to a country where the currency loses a fifth of its value in a year, and stablecoins stop looking like speculation.

They start looking like protection.

That shift in perspective is why @Kheirabkcn, my co-founder and CTO, and I are building @safehavenmoney_ in the @dev3pack Accelerator right now.

Not for traders.
