Caste discrimination incident in Devagiri village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anantapur (AP).

We belong to SC community. For Ambedkar Jayanti, we planned a peaceful procession.

2 days prior, we informed local police (SI, Bommanahal PS) and also approached MRO office requesting protection and support.

Despite this, a large group (300-400 people) gathered and opposed our procession. Even after officials visited, the situation could not be controlled and the entire village stood against us.

To avoid conflict and legal issues, we voluntarily stopped our celebration.

This is not a one-time issue. We are being restricted from entering certain streets and temples.

We request immediate intervention, protection, and action to ensure our constitutional rights and dignity.

మేము SC వర్గానికి చెందిన వారు. అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి సందర్భంగా శాంతియుత ఊరేగింపు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాము.

2 రోజుల ముందుగానే బొమ్మనహాళ్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ (SI) వద్ద సమాచారం ఇచ్చాము. అలాగే MRO కార్యాలయానికి వెళ్లి రక్షణ కోరాము.

అయినప్పటికీ 300-400 మంది పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో చేరి మా ఊరేగింపును అడ్డుకున్నారు. అధికారులు వచ్చి మాట్లాడినా పరిస్థితి అదుపులోకి రాలేదు మరియు గ్రామం మొత్తం మా మీదకు వచ్చింది.

గొడవలు మరియు కేసులు రావద్దని మేమే స్వయంగా ఊరేగింపును ఆపివేశాము.

ఇది ఒక్క రోజు విషయం కాదు. మమ్మల్ని కొన్ని వీధులు మరియు దేవాలయాలకు వెళ్లకుండా అడ్డుకుంటున్నారు.

దయచేసి వెంటనే జోక్యం చేసుకుని మా హక్కులు మరియు గౌరవాన్ని రక్షించాలి.
