What reading teaches you about building : Friedrich Nietzsche 📘
Software design has a comfort problem.
In On the Genealogy of Morals, Nietzsche described how a culture declines when it redefines weakness as a virtue.
If you lack the power to run fast, you declare that running is reckless.
If you struggle with discipline, you declare that structure is toxic.
You build an ethic around avoiding friction at all costs.
Modern product design has fallen into the exact same trap. In product management, "friction" is treated like a mortal sin. Every work must be automated away, every metric is hidden to spare feelings, and apps are engineered to demand zero effort from the user.
But eliminating all friction doesn’t empower people. It infantilizes them.
There are two philosophies of product design:
1. Sedative Software:
It solves problems by lowering the user’s standards. It gives you participation trophies, hides hard truths behind pastel confetti, and makes you feel accomplished for doing nothing. It keeps you dependent on the tool because you never build competence.
2. Leverage Software:
It respects the user's agency. It introduces deliberate friction: accountability, raw feedback, precision controls, and high expectations. It doesn't promise things will be effortless; it gives you the leverage to operate at an elite level.
I've been far beyond and saw the similar ego-shattering visions. Still highly recommend psychedelics for all those drawn to doing it.
But, please get some spiritual training and preparation. Study under a teacher for a few weeks.
Can you handle seeing and recognizing that all of life is just a game YOU created - and then go back next week to the silly meaningless routines you and society has built?
@Sujay__Raj Diet accountability that lives in your group chat’s competitive streak, not a spreadsheet.
Your PT sees you once a week. Your league sees every plate.

@suraj_sharma14 Build and test on a separate copy of your database and keys, so a bad AI prompt can only break your test data, never your real users’ data.
Day 6 : I want to connect with likeminded people 📝
I really do with fantastic ideas being built left and right.
We must know our roots as well, and there’s no better example of blending ancient roots.
I'm Indian , from the UK to exposure of raw ingredients imported from India
