With that logic and line of thought, we can afford to give them more than one game with a new look rotation before making sweeping declarations. Every season is a little different.
Culture is agree with. Koby! Not so much. There was a sizable effort made to address certain areas (size, athleticism, wing depth).
@wrldanotherwrld I don’t know how you watch Mario play during preseason and in that initial game and consider him a “bad replacement”
There are definitely some issues that remain and hopefully they are worked out throughout the entire season but I’m not already gonna label them failures
@wrldanotherwrld The Cavs are replacing a possible 5/10 of their rotation. That’s certainly a good amount of change.
I agree with the latter portion but that doesn’t however mean they are already doomed to fail.
Mario Hezonja on waiving off Donovan Mitchell:
“I told him you’re not supposed to bring the ball up under pressure. I waived JT out to go 1-on-1 against my mismatch. I spoke to James and Donovan, there’s 5 of us on the court and you need to read those mismatch situations.”
Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has sustained a low-grade right high ankle sprain, sources tell ESPN. This injury diagnosis typically carries a timetable of 4-to-6 weeks.
@WardenSzn2 No one guards anyone for the entire game anymore. And tbh, you don’t won’t him guarding one person all game.
The Cavs switch more often than id like tho.
That’s not a Peyton Watson issue though so point stands. He wasn’t getting fried
Brown indeed got the best of him on back to back buckets. I don't think he had his way though.
He was only credited with going 2/2 vs Watson. I think that final bucket you are referring to is actually on Merrill because of the switch.
He spent more time defending Maxey.
@SadOSUhoopsFan No we haven’t.
They are essentially replacing 3 major rotational spots and trying to iron out 2 others. This roster is different as is it’s rotation.
They got some work to do tho
