Seagrasses are a foundational element for coastal ecosystems worldwide, removing nutrients, CO2, pathogens, and even heavy metals from the water column to support abundant marine life. Roughly a fifth of the world's seagrass has been lost since the late 1800s, making restoration central to ocean stewardship.
A major constraint on scaling seagrass restoration is access to planting material.
Traditionally, divers collect plants from the seabed or gather seeds by hand. It is slow, labor-intensive work that cannot scale with conventional methods. Harvesting plants from donor meadows can even damage the healthy habitats that restoration is meant to protect.
Ulysses is developing minimally invasive, species-specific payloads that collect fruits and seeds at scale from key seagrass species, including Posidonia australis, Zostera marina, and more. Automating collection cuts cost and reduces disturbance to donor meadows, so we can restore larger areas while protecting existing habitat.

@bosmeny hey Tyler, I'm Dev, I'm studying aerospace engineering and there's nothing I love building more than drones and robotics.
working on an idea that bring back the edge, lowering the cost per kill and defending all important skies autonomously. applying to F26, would love to chat
what if you could instantly clone any object?
Gemma 4 is now on @Cerebras Inference, running up to 10x faster than GPUs (1,500 tokens/sec). Multimodal generations you can iterate on in real time :)
Exactly one week after ringing the bell at @Nasdaq, we celebrated with the employees and their families who made it happen.
Our global teams gathered together to mark 10 years of everything that led to that moment. Kids running around, stories being shared across two cities, and more than a few well-earned tears of pride.
A company is built on a decade of late nights, hard calls, pivots, breakthroughs, and the unshakeable belief that we were onto something worth fighting for.
In our CEO @andrewdfeldman's words: "We need you more than ever. We're just getting started."
@g_kasten@cory@g_kasten super interested. studying aerospace, built in drones before, looking to build in robotics and defence. currently working on compute and chip design.
Last year, we showed the world an AI bookmark. 10 million of you saw it. We've since gone to the drawing board to make something even better. Today, we're introducing Mark II. Pre-order now👇
@NominalAviator Hey Michael, love the product and personally understand the problem and was thinking that such a solution is imminent. Would love to connect and chat more about what you're doing at Aurorin!
