Excluding Perlis where MCA used to have 1 seat in Titi Tinggi all the way up to 2022, the last election (federal or state) in which MCA won more seats than DAP was in 2008 (Pahang and Johor).

Yesterday in Johor, it happened after nearly 20 years.

If I were DAP, I would treat this as an existential crisis and consider leaving PH.

Clearly, compromising every principle for the sake of keeping 1 man in power is starting to take a toll - the chickens are coming home to roost.

Pada masa macam inilah kepimpinan politik paling penting.

Bagi saya, jalan keluarnya bukan dengan terus berdiam atau tunggu satu pihak ambil tindakan.

Perdana Menteri mesti ambil inisiatif.

Kalau ada cetusan macam ini, panggil segera pimpinan kanan semua parti.

Panggil kerajaan, panggil pembangkang, panggil PN, panggil UMNO, panggil PAS.

Duduk semeja sebagai patriot.

Buat pendirian bersama.

Kemudian balik dan sampaikan mesej yang sama kepada penyokong masing-masing: api perkauman jangan dibuat main.

Sebab bila api ini terbakar, dia bukan setakat rosakkan satu dua nyawa.

Dia rosakkan kestabilan negara.
